One of the things that I have had to get used to in the passing of the years in my life is to see so many fads and ideas from times past come back with new coats of paint. Over the past few years I have seen resurgence of many classic series and IP’s such as the Transformers, He-Man, Care Bears, and even GI Joe. It always cracks me up when the younger generation(s) of the day gets into these things and thinks that they are new and original, oblivious to the history and past that they actually have. I saw the trailer over at Quicktime.com; they are making a movie for the upcoming holiday season...

If destruction of said chipmunks be fate, blame the son of the father. Ralph Bagdasarian Jr., the original creator's kid, is solely responsible for the 'munk marketing. He did bring 'em back in the eighties, mind. This could be the nail in the coffin for 'em, though. Ah, well, there's always Foamy the Squirrel! Squirrely Wrath!
